A new generation of drive with USB Hub

Protect your precious pictures, videos, and other important data from being stolen or harvested from your social media accounts to be turned into deepfakes or other criminal misuses. With the included USB hub, you can transfer files from your smartphones and other digital devices through the computer into the CipherShield hardware encrypted drive for secure storage. Don’t store your pictures or videos on social media; store them securely in Ciphershield drive. Don’t leave your files on your computer where it’s not even encrypted; move them to CipherShield drive. Without the hardware key, even if your drive is stolen, criminals cannot decrypt your files.

Supporting USB A on the PC side means the drive will work right out of the box without hunting for the right port or cable. It is also backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0, so you don’t need to worry about being unable to use it with previous generations’ USB systems. eSATA interface is provided as protection against USB Threats or where USB is disabled as a security policy. According to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), security risks are associated with USB drives. To read more about the threat, download the Honeywell White Paper.

The CipherShield encryption model features single-factor authentication with a single key. Smart Insert with CipherKey allows you to secure data with two intelligent key insertion modes. In Mode 0, the key must remain plugged in while powered on to remain authenticated and decrypted. Suitable when human insertion of the key is not feasible such as at a data center or remote location. When the key is removed, the drive is unauthenticated and all data within the drive are no longer decrypted. In Mode 1, the key can be inserted and removed to store away while powered on. It will remain authenticated until the power is turned off. Suitable for higher security and when human insertion of the key is feasible such as the local office. CipherShield drive is perfect for secure data storage and backup for federal, state, and local government agencies, corporations, small businesses, universities, schools, healthcare, law, and personal use.
