With a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, this drive supports the most common USB generation: USB 3.0. This means it will work with most USB ports out there. It will also run with the newer USB 3.2 Gen 2 port at 5Gbps.

The CipherShield encryption model features single-factor authentication with a single key, the key must remain plugged in while powered on to remain authenticated.
